Loving these Red Bentwood Chairs + the oak table + newsprint wallpaper. Not so loving the tree thing, the naff paper shade or that 'tropical' looking floral arrangment, so right but yet so wrong.

I heart Monday's

I Heart Monday's. I know you are sopposed to loath them, but i love the start of a new week, the promise of something to come, the fresh start and fresh ideas. I always have loads of energy on a monday after a quick sunday recharge. Yesterday i took lots of naps, read lots, took L bowling and out for lunch. We had family over dinner, drank lots of wine and played cards late into the night (iv rediscovered a love for late night card playing) I woke to the sound of heavy rainfall but instead of feeling miserable i felt lucky that my home is dry, my road is covered in puddles and not underwater unlike some parts of Britain and i have a lovely shop full of festive cheer to open up. How Lucky is this??!

 Today i'm emulating the queen of umbrella style Mary Poppins

So, i'm back. Fashion show is over (thank god) things are more under control now. I will post pics of the show when i get some, i was so busy and frantic on the night i didnt even get my camera out but i'm sure someone took lots. Hope you're well and having a good week. x

I shoulda Been a Stripper

Wow! This is my third award recently and by far the best! This is called the 'Shoulda Been a Stripper' award. Very fitting, because there was a time during university when i very carefully considered becoming a stripper, purely for the great money to be made and the fact i was literally so poor i was exsisting on toast. It never happened luckily i survived on toast for a while and then met Mr ER who had a proper job and bought me food and helped me pay rent so all ended well, are you interested in this? nah, probaly not, i'l get on with it then......

This award was passed on by the fabulous chic and lovely BagLady who writes the funniest blog i know and she passed it to me because she knows there is not even a hint of blog snobbery on Eden Rose and i will always muck in and do a tag. ;) So ta very muchly Lady.

The rules of the tag are display award on blog, list seven personality traits on blog and then pass the award to seven deserving blogs you like. easy, here goes...........

1. Indecisive - I am a Libran, as is Mr ER, you can imagine the situation in my house. It's like this ' what do you wanna do today?' 'i dunno, what about you?' 'It's up to you i dont mind' 'no, i dont mind, you decide' 'how about bristol today?' 'nah, not sure really' 'well what then' arrhhhhh!!!! we drive each other insane and nothing ever happens or gets decided and it will be like this FOREVER.

2. Suspicious - I'm dreadly bad at judging people, i always think they are out to get me for some reason, i very rarely trust anyone untill i get to know them very well.

3. Psychic - I'm not mad, or a hippy, or have any way of talking to dead people but lots of things iv predicted have happened and im very in tune with the universe and my inner voice. That in itself sounds very hippy, but seriously i do know stuff with out knowing how i know and when i give advice, i am ALWAYS right. I dont take this seriously at all and have no interest in setting up a teepee and charging per hour, it just helps me along the way.

4. Determined - If i get my teeth into an idea, i am like a possesed woman, i cant sleep or think about anything else. All of my energy for living is focused on that one goal untill i get bored and move on.

5. Patient - I very rarely get mad or cross at anything and people can never wind me up, i have the ability to rise above anything which is handy actually.

6. Generous - I will never be wealthy because all that i have i share with those i love, i think nothing of paying for dinner if i'm with a group of people, i love to buy gifts for people and i like people i love to be happy. I'm totally ok with not ever being wealthy, i am much much happier doing things my way.

7. Bossy - I have always been bossy, maybe it's because i'm the oldest sister or because it's my natural charater but i always like to be in charge. I could never be employed by anyone, if i wasnt working for myself i wouldn't work at all. Having said that, I only boss around my sisters and Mr ER, with everyone else i am misses nice and amenable :)
